2023 Great Day on the GAP

Bike or hike your way to Cedar Creek Park for the 2023 Great Day on the GAP, where you’ll make merry celebrating the Great Allegheny Passage, rain or shine!

On Saturday, June 10 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, enjoy tasty food served up by Earth, Wheel, and Fire and Revival Chili, plus sip the very best beers from Bloom Brew and Trailhead Brewing Company. Live music, an event t-shirt, raffled auction baskets, and famous Nancy B.’s cookies add to the fun. Take a test ride on a custom tandem bike with the Joyriders. The first 40 VIP ticketholders receive a complimentary guided tour of The Ruins Project in nearby Whitsett.

The Great Allegheny Passage Conservancy seeks to steward and sustain the GAP for future generations. “Great Day on the GAP!” is our inaugural fundraising event designed to further this exciting mission and vision. Gather with GAP fans and trade stories from your favorite treks. Presented generously by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield with support from PNC Bank, Reed & Witting, and First National Bank.

Pre-registration is complete as of June 10 at 7:45 am! But walkups are welcome, so please do join us and register on site.
