150-Mile GAP Challenge

About the Challenge

The Great Allegheny Passage®, or GAP, is 150 miles of non-motorized trail travel from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, Maryland. The nearly-level, crushed limestone path soars over valleys and snakes alongside rivers in Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands.

We challenge you to ride (and/or roll) the entire 150 miles this summer!

Your adventures will take you soaring over valleys and rushing waters, through tunnels, across the Mason-Dixon Line, and to the top of the Eastern Continental Divide. A charming chain of hospitable trail towns awaits your arrival with lodging and services perfect for day trips, overnights, and thru-rides.
