Peak of the Passage Geology Ride

Enjoy this flat group ride with retired geologist Fred Zelt, a Certified League Cycling Instructor through the League of American Bicyclists and Founder of the Social Distance Cycling Club. Fred will bring his knowledge and passion to the Great Allegheny Passage and the geological features near the Eastern Continental Divide and Big Savage Tunnel. The group will cycle at a moderate pace and stop often to take photos and discuss topics related to the landscape and the fascinating history of the region, much of which has national or global significance.
