South Side Soup Contest

Bike the Great Allegheny Passage over to Pittsburgh’s South Side for the South Side Chamber of Commerce’s annual South Side Soup Contest! Nearly two dozen South Side restaurants will showcase their most imaginative soups, from hearty chowders and bisques to flavorful vegetarian options. To highlight the South Side’s vibrant business community, each restaurant will be paired with some of the neighborhood’s most distinctive shops and retailers, showcasing all that the South Side has to offer. After visiting all the host locations and sampling all the delicious soups, attendees can vote for their favorites in categories like Best Soup, Best Veggie, Most Unique, and Best Host Location, via text.
