Trail Care Thursday

Join us along the Great Allegheny Passage where it’s carried by the Three Rivers Heritage Trail for a Trail Care Thursday opportunity with Friends of the Riverfront! Volunteers will collect litter along the trail right-of-way between the Eliza Furnace parking lot and the Hot Metal Bridge, along with adjacent parcels, remove stickers and graffiti from amenities, cut vines or undesired vegetation, and perform other general trail maintenance needs. Please wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and layered sleeves to be removed. Monitor the forecast and dress for the weather, we will work through light to moderate rain. Bring a reusable water bottle, water will not be available. All other project supplies and equipment will be provided.
