Head to lovely West Newton on October 1 for a competitive 5K/10K run or two mile fun walk organized by volunteers with the Westmoreland Yough Trail Chapter. This annual fundraiser for maintenace projects along the Great Allegheny Passage is perfect for all ages. Earn a medal and enjoy the changing leaves along the Youghiogheny River. Then grab lunch or dinner right in town.
