Trusted experts at Fodor’s Travel named the Great Allegheny Passage one of the “15 Most-Scenic Bike Trails in America” in October 2020, noting that travelers can “glimpse the Cumberland Narrows, cross the Mason & Dixon Line and the Eastern Continental Divide, [and] bob along three rivers” en route from Cumberland to Downtown Pittsburgh. The adjoining C&O Canal Towpath was also among those named, making Cumberland the only trail town to host two such trails.
