Re-watering work begins for historic C&O Canal aqueduct

Work on a temporary dam in the Conococheague Creek near the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal aqueduct in Williamsport has started. It will make way for a new pumping and filtration system to feed water from the creek into the Cushwa Basin and eventually the aqueduct above the creek.
