Contractorsa deployed by the Maryland Department of the Enviroment and Bureau of Mines will have construction vehicles on the Great Allegheny Passage between mile markers 13 and 15, just south of Frostburg, to gain access to required repairwork adjacent to the GAP and under the neighboring tracks used by the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. No construction will be taking place on the GAP and no delays are expected. Still, please watch for construction vehicles and travel alertly. This work is scheduled to take place between August 15 and 17.
