Contractors deployed by Allegany County have completed the upgrading of sewer lines under the Great Allegheny Passage near Cumberland, between mile markers 1 and 2. The surface is uneven, and will remain so until it can be resurfaced during the spring of 2023. Please take caution and slow down in this area.
Underground work is complete, although the trail surface remains uneven. It will be resurfaced in spring, 2023.
