Reenactment of Braddock’s Crossing
June 29 @ 11:00 am – June 30 @ 5:00 pm
Visit Connellsville for a series of reenactments commemorating General Edward Braddock’s famous crossing of the Youghiogheny River en route to Fort Duquesne in 1755. The event will begin on Saturday, June 29 at 11:00 am with an opening ceremony, and reenactments are slated for both Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 pm, weather permitting. This is an annual public event great for gaining a knowledge of life in the region when it was the frontier of the United States.
