Slope Repair Near Frostburg

GAP Mile 11 | Reported on | Last Updated:

Allegany County and its contractors are undertaking the repair and stabilization of a hillside adjacent to the Great Allegheny Passage east of Frostburg, between mile markers 11 and 12. This work, along a 100 yard section of the trail corridor, will not result in a closure, but bicyclists must dismount and walk their bikes through the construction zone. Please be on the lookout for construction vehicles, travel slowly, and be prepared to wait for a few moments while equipment is being repositioned at the site or if workers need space temporarily.
