Resurfacing by Ohiopyle State Park crews; slow down and prepare to dismount briefly.

Resurfacing Between Confluence and Ramcat

GAP Mile 62 | Reported on | Last Updated:

Staff from Ohiopyle State Park and a crew from the Pennsylvania Outdoor Corps are repairing, recrowning, and resurfacing a section of the Great Allegheny Passage prone to rutting on the park’s easternmost end, between Confluence and the Ramcat trail access area, around mile marker 62. Bicyclists and hikers should plan to dismount and walk around this area when work crews are on site, and watch for vehicles on Ramcat Road, which runs parallel to the GAP in this location. Evening and weekends, this section will be open as usual. This project will continue off and on through early July.
