The C&O Canal National Historical Park has posted notice that a rockslide is completely blocking the C&O Canal Towpath at mile marker 87.5, just short of McMahon’s Mill. Please consult the park’s website for updates and current conditions.
This rockslide has been cleared by NPS staff.
