Welcome to The Parker House of Confluence, an elegant country guest house with front porch access to the Great Allegheny Passage, the Youghiogheny and Casselman Rivers and Laurel Hill Creek. This beautiful Federal-style home, built in the early 1900’s, was completely restored in 1998 by local craftsmen.
Each of the three bedrooms has a private bathroom. The Maple room has a beautiful poster queen bed. The Twin Pines room has two queen beds. Mary’s Tree House, the master bedroom, has a queen bed and a day bed.
Guests can prepare meals or snacks in the new, fully-equipped kitchen. The Great Room features comfortable chairs and the adjacent patio with table and chairs overlooks the garden. The bike garage has locked bike storage with electric outlets.
Dining and drinking establishments within walking distance include four restaurants along with a specialty coffee shop (with an art gallery), brewery, whiskey, pizza, and ice cream shops.
Stay another day or two to go rafting, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming and/or picnicking. Nearby attractions include The Youghiogheny River and Lake, Ohiopyle State Park, Fort Necessity, Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob and the Flight 93 National Memorial.
