The Parker House

Relax at The Parker House of Confluence, an elegant country guesthouse with front porch access to the Great Allegheny Passage – at mile marker 62 – and the confluence of the Youghiogheny River with the Casselman River and Laurel Hill Creek. This spacious Federal-style home, built in the early 1900’s, was completely restored in 1998 by local craftsmen. Its seven bedrooms (five with private baths) offer sumptuous queen beds. The living room with log-burning fireplace, library, and loft provide comfortable, quiet spaces for relaxation and reading. The fully-equipped kitchen, large solarium/conference room, porches and patio are ideal for hosting anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, weddings, reunions and business meetings. The Parker House is open year-round for one room, one night or whole house vacation rentals. Its proprietor provides locked bike storage, and a safe, clean and comfortable environment by following the CDC and Pennsylvania Health Department’s Business Safety Guidelines. Local recreational activities include rafting, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming, and picnicking. Nearby attractions include Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Hidden Valley, Nemacolin Resort, Laurel Ridge and Ohiopyle State Parks, Fort Necessity, Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, and the Flight 93 Memorial.
